Generate Saturday Lotto numbers in one click
Our random number generator picks 6 different numbers from 1 to 45 for a Saturday Lotto entry. Each number is chosen at random and no number appears twice, so every result is a valid combination you can copy onto a ticket or into an app. If you would like a different set, simply generate again. Every combination the tool shows has exactly the same chance as any other.
How Saturday Lotto works
In Saturday Lotto you choose 6 numbers from a pool of 1 to 45. In each draw, 6 winning numbers are drawn first, followed by 2 supplementary numbers taken from the remaining balls. The supplementary numbers only matter for some of the lower prize levels, where they are combined with a certain number of main numbers. As the name suggests, the game is drawn every Saturday, and some states also run weekday games with the same format. The official prize table defines exactly which combinations of main and supplementary numbers win a prize.
Saturday Lotto odds at a glance
There are 8,145,060 different ways to choose 6 numbers from 45. That is still a very large number, but it gives Saturday Lotto the shortest jackpot odds of the three main Australian draws. Some figures for a single game:
- All 6 main numbers: 1 in 8,145,060
- 5 main numbers plus 1 supplementary: 1 in 678,755
- 5 main numbers and no supplementary: 1 in 36,689
- Exactly 4 main numbers: 1 in 733
Why random picks are as good as any
Every Saturday Lotto draw is independent. The balls have no memory of earlier results, so numbers that appeared last week are no more or less likely to appear again, and numbers that have been missing for a while are not due. A set like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 has exactly the same chance as any randomly generated set.
What can differ is how many other people choose the same numbers. Birthdays, favourite numbers and neat patterns on the ticket are popular, so if such a combination wins, the prize for that level may be split between more winners. A random selection tends to avoid these common choices. This does not improve your chance of winning; it only affects how likely you are to share a prize if you do win.
What this tool does
Sallamatik only helps with random number selection. It does not sell tickets, operate a draw, verify results, offer betting or guarantee any result, prize or chance of winning. The numbers it produces are simply suggestions that you are free to use or ignore.
