What the generator does
This generator creates a complete Lotto 6/49 line for you: six different numbers between 1 and 49. Each number has exactly the same chance of being selected, and no number can appear twice in one line. Generate as many lines as you like and copy the ones you want to use.
How Lotto 6/49 works
Lotto 6/49 is Canada's national lotto game. Players choose six numbers from 1 to 49. In the classic draw, six winning numbers are drawn, followed by a bonus number that is used for some of the prize tiers. Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday. To win the classic jackpot, all six of your numbers must match the six winning numbers.
Since 2022, each play also takes part in a separate Gold Ball draw. That second draw works differently from the classic number draw and has its own rules, so check the official details if you want to know how it works.
Odds at a glance
There are 13,983,816 different ways to choose six numbers from 49. For the classic draw, the odds of matching with a single line are:
- 6 numbers: 1 in 13,983,816
- 5 numbers + bonus: 1 in 2,330,636
- 5 numbers: 1 in 55,491
- 3 numbers: 1 in 60.91
The official prize table defines which of these matches pay a prize and how prizes are set.
Why random picks are as good as any
Every Lotto 6/49 draw is independent. The balls have no memory, so a number drawn last week is no more likely to appear again, and a number that has been missing for a long time is not due. A line like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 has exactly the same chance as any other combination.
What your choice can affect is how many other people pick the same numbers. Birthdays, anniversaries and tidy patterns on the selection slip are very common, so those lines are more likely to be shared if they win. A random line avoids these habits and may reduce the chance of splitting a prize. It does not change your chance of winning.
What this tool does
Sallamatik only helps with random number selection. It does not sell tickets, operate a draw, verify results or offer betting of any kind. It does not guarantee any result, prize or chance of winning. The numbers it shows are simply a fair random suggestion that you are free to use or ignore.
